The short version
When you request an estimate, use our instant quote tool, or send us a message, you share a few details so we can help you. We use that information to give you a quote, schedule your work, and follow up — nothing more. We never sell your personal information. Period.
Information we collect
We collect two types of information:
- Non-personal information: aggregated, non-identifiable usage and technical data your device sends — such as browser type, operating system, language preference, access times, and pages viewed — which helps us improve the site.
- Personal information: details you provide voluntarily — your name, email, phone number, property address, and the specifics of your roofing inquiry — when you submit our contact form or request an estimate.
How we receive information about you
- When you voluntarily provide details through our contact or estimate forms;
- When you use or access the site in connection with our services;
- From third-party providers and services, such as traffic-analytics vendors.
How we use your information
- To communicate with you by phone, text, or email about your inquiry and our services;
- To provide estimates, schedule work, and deliver the services you request;

We do not rent or sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information with trusted service providers who help us operate our business and serve you, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
Instant quote tool, photos & AI
When you use our instant quote tool, we collect the property address you enter and generate roof measurements from third-party satellite imagery (Google) to produce a preliminary estimate. If you choose to upload photos of your roof, those images are stored securely and may be analyzed by an AI provider (Anthropic) to help assess roof condition. We also use AI to help qualify and route inquiries. Estimates are preliminary and confirmed by a free on-site inspection; they are not binding quotes.
We retain instant-quote entries — the address entered, the measurements, and the estimate shown — even if you don't complete the contact form, so we can operate and improve the service, and we may send a mailer about our services to properties in our service areas. If you'd like a quote entry removed, contact us and we'll delete it.
Communications & your choices
When you request an estimate and provide an email address, we send that estimate to you by email — that delivery is part of the service you asked for. With your consent, we additionally contact you by phone, text, and/or email about your inquiry and estimate. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and unsubscribe from emails at any time. We honor opt-out requests promptly. To complete your project, we may share your contact and project details with a vetted local subcontractor crew that performs the work.
Text messaging (SMS) terms
When you provide your phone number through one of our forms or otherwise opt in to text messaging, you consent to receive text messages from Guthix Roofing at the number provided. Messages may include transactional updates — such as estimate details, scheduling, appointment reminders, and service updates — as well as occasional marketing or promotional messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with vendors and service providers who help us deliver text messages is limited to supporting those services on our behalf. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Cookies, analytics & advertising
The site may use cookies and similar technologies to enhance functionality and understand how visitors use the site, including analytics services such as Google Analytics. We also use advertising measurement tools (such as the Meta pixel and Conversions API) that, acting solely as our service providers, may receive limited technical data and a hashed (irreversibly encoded) email identifier when you submit a form so we can measure the performance of our advertising. We do not send your phone number to advertising platforms. You can usually adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies, though some features may not function properly as a result.
Data retention & security
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
